Solar Punch Salutes the Sun at Madras University

Today marked the arrival and first performance of Solar Punch, our solar powered band, who rocked out in the midday sun to students, staff and curious passers-by at Madras University - the site of the tour's first climate leadership training too!

The band serenaded the crowd with songs about the sun, our solar system, and the need to say no to plastic.

Rather symbolically the crowd could not get too close to the band due to a series of parked cars.

The intreague and excitement surrounding the band, with their dynamic and educational message, was definitely tangible! It was smiles all round, and it's an absolute pleasure to have them with us.
