Calling all Indian Innovators!
India's Department of Science and Technology recently launched the India Innovation Initiative (i3) in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry and communication analyst Agilent Technologies.
The aim of i3 is to promote and inspire the spirit of innovation across India, encouraging the development, capture and application of transformative technology-based ideas.
This initiative is a nationwide competition is open to Indian innovators aged 18 and above, from a wealth of fields, including student bodies, R&D Institutes and labs, Industry, India's Grassroots and individual entrepreneurs.
Participants should submit their project proposals by May 30, 2009.
